A global environmental science company specializing in pest management and agricultural solutions company managing distributed operations across multiple regions, relied heavily on manual, Excel-based tracking and email-driven coordination, limiting efficiency, accuracy, and real-time decision-making.
- No real-time visibility into performance of Zonal Managers, Area Sales Manager, and Business Development Officers caused delay to gather insights
- Data managed in Excel files and shared via email resulted in fragmented tracking & version control issues
- High dependency on manual data entry and repetitive validations led to increased effort & errors
Approach:
- Designed two applications (Sales Team and Managerial Level) to handle activity tracking and target management separately.
- Implemented role-based access for Zonal Managers, ASMs, and BDOs using login-based logic.
- Centralized data using Dataverse tables to maintain consistency and avoid duplication.
- Used Power Apps functions like Patch, ForAll, and ClearCollect for automation and validations.
- Built structured forms and workflows for customer creation, activity logging, and monthly target generation.
- Ensured seamless data flow between different modules for better coordination.
Impact:
- Centralized all data, replacing manual Excel and email-based tracking systems.
- Provided real-time visibility into performance at all levels of the Sales Team Hierarchy.
